I talk a lot about purpose because it’s my purpose. The thing about purpose is that it’s far more simple and simultaneously more complex that most realize.
First, purpose is simple: show up, be you, and do what you feel called to do. Contribute to the world in the way that only you can at the scale and scope that’s most aligned for you.
Second, purpose has two parts: there’s the seed of our purpose and then there’s our purpose expression which is influenced by the times we live in and how life shapes us.
The seed of our purpose is simple but challenging:
You’re wired to be you.
You have a certain personality…
Unique energetic wiring…
Specific skills, talents, and gifts…
And a set of interests that light you up…
You’re not here to be anyone else. You’re not here to conform to systems that were created by and for certain types of people, often causing harm to anyone who’s “other.”
The truth is, most systems strip us of who we are.
